Project Update 6-29-05

More Construction

As usual, the team has been working all day, every day to get Drifter ready for the unveiling. If you're interested in attending, come to the AME courtyard at 5 PM this Thursday, the 30th.

Here are a few more construction shots.

Yesterday, Jarod put in a temporary electrical system, just to be sure the motor still worked after sitting in our dusty lab for two years. It did!

Our new suspension brackets came today from Raytheon. Can you tell which one is new, and which one has been on three races?

Mark installed the suspension (hopefully for the last time) with the new brackets.

Atlas checked out the steering components one more time before installing them.

When the steering system was in, Jarod gave it a test.
